Sunterra Pond Bio-Filter 3000 Gallons, Black Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Sunterra products appear to be worthwhile and good value - but - as usual you get what you pay for. Unit does not come with ultra violet filtration and is cheaply made. Most significant flaw is that unit Leaks even after replacing O ring. Seal is not adequate for unit pressure. Locking mechanism does not do the job. Spent an entire afternoon changing over from a smaller system that worked perfectly to the larger system that leaks significantly to the extent that it was finally disconnected and original system reinstalled. The 300306 is a waste of money and time and Amazon would do well to discontinue this inferior line.

Product Description:
Outdoor ponds and water gardens are sometimes infiltrated by dirt, insects, algae and decomposed vegetation that cloud up water and harm plants and fish. This pond filter features a dual filtration system utilizing both mechanical (foam filters) and biological (bio balls) processes, cleaning ponds up to 3,000 gallons. Foam filters trap large debris while the bio-filter nurtures beneficial bacteria, converting harmful pathogens into useful nitrates for healthy, crystal clear ponds and water gardens. The filter works best with 2,000- to 3,000-gph pond pumps.
