(More customer reviews)There has been a lot of construction in our area lately.There has been a bit of sediment in the water coming in the mains.This looked like a good way to keep the garden emitters from clogging.

The water pressure in my house is fairly high - I've seen it burst new garden hoses like balloons.Still, this is hard plastic and shouldn't have problems.The outlet connection on one of the units leaked a little, needed tightening, and the adapter may need replacing.It'd be nice if the threaded interfaces on these things could be brass instead of plastic.

Otherwise, it's a very useful unit, I also got one for the RV; it hasn't leaked yet.

(More customer reviews)I use this system to replace the evaporated water in my pond. Works well in removing chlorine from tap water. According to my test kit I need a replacement filter and cannot find one.I just noticed the picture of the filters and housing on Amazon's web site are incorrect. The filters I received; one was a pleated paper filter for sediment and one was plastic tube filled with a brown sand type material with some carbon pieces around the edges.
