The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that one tip of diverter valve that attaches to the faucet and diverts the water to the filter broke. I called the company and they were aware of the manufacture defect. They were very friendly and helpful. They put a whole new "diverter valve attachment" in the mail that same day.After changing out the part we have had no other problems at all after several months of substantial use.

(More customer reviews)I knew this was a generic, so that didn't bother me. The filters were shipped out quickly and received promptly. The description says these are a match for the Amana 46-9904 filter, which is the one we use in our fridge. However, when we got them, they didn't fit properly and water was spraying everywhere. On the plus side the company gave us no hassle about returning them (except we had to pay shipping back). The company was very responsive and good to work with. So the one star is for the product, not the company.

(More customer reviews)Watts does not make it easy to match up filters with there filter housing. It required a lot of homework to get the filters that would work with the housing. Tracking the original filters that came with the housing proved fruitless. Once I did all the homework the system is working fine.

(More customer reviews)As with all of the Berkey products this works extremely well and is very easy to clean and maintain.It's not a back pack unit, but for larger groups or as an emergency filter in a trailer or other vehicle it's hard to beat.Just make sure you prep the filters per their instructions and wash the unit thoroughly before use.
