(More customer reviews)This air gap faucet is relatively easy to install and setup. Works well with my RO filter system. The air gap noise is annoyingly loud while it's filling up the tank (you can hear it from the next room) which is everytime after you turn on the faucet and 6-8 hours if you start from filling up from an empty tank. It looks like I will only keep this as a temporary solution until I can find something else quieter.

(More customer reviews)This faucet works fine.The trim ring does not match the size of the chrome faucet and I had to trim down the rubber washer; this should have a larger washer or a gasket seal that matches. It should have a push-in style quick disconnect underneath; instead it has a compression connection.Note that the activation lever can be pulled up and locks the faucet on for filling up large containers; I think this is a standard feature on these things.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this along with the Culligan Water filter kit US-EZ-4 since Amazon noted this faucet was commonly purchased by others with the filter kit: Culligan US-EZ-4 EZ-Change Level 4 Under-Sink Drinking Water System. After reading others' reviews on the filter kit stating the faucet in the kit was not great, I went ahead and purchased this faucet in addition so I can just install it at the same time.It turns out this faucet does not fit the tubing that comes with the filter kit. You would need to purchase a separate adaptor to convert the larger diameter on this faucet with the narrower tubing coming from the filter. I couldn't find such an adaptor, so ended up returning this faucet and just using the one that comes with the EZ-4.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to give the Aqua-Pure a try before spending a fortune on a reverse osmosis system that would also take up all the space under the sink. To my relief, and a bit of a surprise, it actually works. I can compare the unfiltered to the filtered and there is a huge difference. And, it takes up little space.

Water companies have different issues to deal with in various areas of the country. Not far from here, my mother had a terrible iron problem, and I have none to deal with. I would imagine that a simple system like the AP200 might work in some areas and not others. If the water is really terrible, then perhaps only a more complex system would work and maybe not even then.

So, it works perfectly for me, but I do have issues. First, it is really expensive for what it is! This is a simple plastic device, two pieces and a gasket.$92 is a lot for that.

The filter screws into the housing. Since it is plastic, I have always been careful, but once I did find that the filter had broken off at the threads. This required taking everything out and doing something clever to remove the broken-off part from the housing.

Did I screw it in too tightly? Hmmm, I'm pretty careful about such things. I would hate to think it broke from normal water pressure or some sort of surge. I have no water hammer problem. In any case, it isn't very durable and takes too much care to install the filter cartridge.

The better news is that the filters come two in a box. Amazon's description makes it seem like you are only getting one for almost $50. Since they last me at least a year, that is only $25/year, which isn't too bad.

As with any filter, you do have to tap into the plumbing under the sink. That gets you into the world of plumbing and those who have been there know that there is little standardization and lots of options.

Again, as with any filter, you really have to use a separate faucet. Running all your cold water through this filter would shorten its life considerably and at only 2 GPM, the flow would be really slow.

I put my system in when I changed the sink and I bought one that had a hole in it for a separate faucet. Some homes have the faucets coming through the counter, but drilling would still be necessary.

In my area, and my circumstances, the Aqua-Pure turns out to be a fine option. We don't buy bottled water, the coffee and ice cubes are better and we use it to cook in. The regular water goes to the dishwasher and for sink duty.

So, I think it works just fine in most situations, takes up little room and is easier to install that some other systems. It is too expensive and fragile to get the coveted five stars, so it gets three.

(More customer reviews)I have been using these filters for about 7 years, very good quality and do a very good job filtering!!. I live in Venezuela, tap water is not very good quality, but this filter works really good. I'm using a sediment filter as a first stage and then this one for ice making machine and drinking water from refrigerator. Replacement is very easy, you dont need any tools or to shut down any valve, just turn the filter in the right direction, it will shut water line, replace, turn lock and done! You can use level 2 o 3 filters, but you will need to replacement them more often.
