(More customer reviews)I admittedly was a little hesitant to order the saltwater generator/filter pump because I was worried that it would be difficult to figure out.Also, there were absolutely no ratings anywhere on this product which didn't help matters.I have been using it for 3 days so my review is only based on the little time I've had it so I don't know how the long term will be but so far so good.You can run the pump only if needed but once you set the generator for however many hours you need it to run (don't worry the table of how long depending on pool size is in the booklet) the pump will also turn on and shut off automatically and start again in 24 hours.It wasn't that difficult to set up and once on it seems to be doing a good job of keeping the chlorine levels perfect.Remember you still will need to buy other chemicals for ph balance and akalinity balance.

The system comes with hoses and fittings for the intake and outlet for both large and small pools.They wouldn't work on my pool (Little Tikes zip tight) but the others (Aqua Leisure etc) should be no problem.

After the system runs through a cycle it has a display that shows what action you may have to take by using numbers (91-low salt, 92-high salt and 93-system completed/no problems).

So far it seems to be doing what it supposed to but if something comes up and I have trouble I'll be sure to update my review.

(More customer reviews)Amazon gives me a toy rating system for this pool pump - but it is everything but!!A terrific pump that I bought as a replacement for an 18 x 4 foot pool - as I was looking for a pump that I could really "vacuum" with.This filter was the ticket.It has ample power and suction to perform my task without a problem.The larger filter is wonderful in that now I no longer have to do the filter cleaning every other day but can go 1-2 weeks!!No more surface skimming either! I simply turn the pump on for 10 minutes before we get in and the skimmer basket combined with this pump does it for me!!In summary - I now love my pool a whole lot more!!

(More customer reviews)I JUST RECEIVED THIS ITEM AND IT IS A TYPE "B" FITLER FOR THE LARGER INTEX POOLS. NOT A TYPE "A".I HAVE A 18' X 48" POOL AND THIS WAS THE RIGHT FILTER.
