(More customer reviews)This water filter is no better than a pur water filter. They make grand claims that no one can check out! I have a tds(total disolved solids) tester. My water before filtration 450 on the tds meter, water after 365. Berkey comment to this is that it is minerals in the water....there couldn't possibly be that many minerals in my water and if there were I wouldn't want to drink it. If there were that many minerals in my water it would be out of balance and clog my arteries. Go for the reverse osmosis unit that costs $50 less...it will bring your water down to a 004. This filter is garbage, don't buy the hype.
