Cuisinart DCC-RWF Charcoal Water Filters *Double Pack* Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)The Cuisinart DCC-RWF filters always come packed 2 to a box. When they are advertised as a "Double pack" at a higher cost one might assume that what is advertised is a quantity of 2
2 packs. Next time I will go to my local Cuisinart supplier. and purchase what I have always purchased without having to pay extra for shipping.

Keurig 5072 Water Filter Replacement Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I bought two of these filters. I installed one in my B70 at home and the other in my B60 in my office.
The B70 continues to work but the B60 is no longer working. The pump runs and makes noise but the machine does not take in water. I contacted Keurig who told me that the newer machines have a "more sensitive" pump and that these filters have been causing problems. Sounds like the newer machines have a weaker pump that can't pull the water through.
Since removing the filter, the machine only sometimes works so Keurig has offered to replace it with a new machine.
They recommended I remove the filter from my B70 before it also breaks and offered me a free 24 pack of coffee to make up for the $36 I spent on these two filters (purchased from Bed, Bath and Beyond)
Good cust service, no complaints there... but I don't recommend his filter (and Keurig agrees)

Considering that water makes up over 95-percent of each cup of coffee (even if you added a copius amount of sugar), microscopic particles and minerals can contaminate the taste of even the best cup of coffee or tea. What a catastrophe if the prime ingredients that fill each Keurig K-Cup meet with distasteful water. Unfortunately, many areas of the USA still have relatively hard water. That's where the Keurig 5072 Water Filter Replacement becomes an essential accessory. It's about health but, most of all, it's taste. KitchenAid Coffee Maker Water Filters, 4 Filters total Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I ordered these filters and the description was for 10-12 cup Kitchenaid coffee maker. They send the 10 cup filters and I have a 12 cup coffee maker. I didn't think this should make any difference since the filter fit just fine, but when I put 8 cups of water in the coffee maker the filter floats and I cannot figure out how to make it stay in place.

Capresso 4440.90 3-pack Charcoal Water Filters Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Beginning with the Coffee Team Plus, Capresso introduced the concept of a water filter in the water tank of their automatic coffee makers. If you use tap water, the filter is a wonderful idea. It removes impurities and chlorine before the water is heated. Clean water and a clean coffee maker = great coffee.
The manufacturer's recommendation is to change filters every 6 weeks or 60 pots of coffee. I usually change them every two months, or so. I imagine the effectiveness of the filter may depend on the quality of the water you use. I haven't had a problem yet.
Usage tip: Each filter is individually wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh until opened. When you open a filter, first soak it in cold water for about 15 minutes. Then rinse it under running water for another minute or two until the water dripping from the filter is clear. If you still see black particles dripping from the filter, run a pot of water through the coffee maker, with the new filter inserted, without coffee beans and discard the water afterward, or use the water for plants (when it is cooled, of course.)
