(More customer reviews)Purchased the Mr Coffee water filter at Walmart for $3.64.This is the complete system which consists of frame, filter disk and disk cover.Only need to relace the filter disk monthly.Can buy the 6 pack of the disks from MrCoffeeStore or Amazon for $14.99 at this time.We have a filter system on the sink in our home; but when the Mr. Coffee water filtration system is used there is white sediment (calcium buildup) on the filter because we have such nasty water. To clean the system we just run water over to wash off the sediment and then once a month change the disk.For $2.49 a month it is worth it when you see the junk the filter keep out of you coffee grounds and your machnie.

2 packs. Next time I will go to my local Cuisinart supplier. and purchase what I have always purchased without having to pay extra for shipping.

(More customer reviews)I ordered these filters and the description was for 10-12 cup Kitchenaid coffee maker. They send the 10 cup filters and I have a 12 cup coffee maker. I didn't think this should make any difference since the filter fit just fine, but when I put 8 cups of water in the coffee maker the filter floats and I cannot figure out how to make it stay in place.

(More customer reviews)Several reviews have claimed that these filters are a total waste, blah blah blah.If they feel their water doesn't need filtration, then I should think they should simply not use a filter and not complain.

Some of us, on the other hand, live in areas where the tap water tastes downright vile--this is certainly the case where I live.I used to buy bottled water for the sole purpose of making coffee.These filters, though, have saved me time and money--yes, they really work!Since I bought the Mr Coffee coffee maker last year, I can use tap water and have coffee without the unpleasant taste of chlorine.This was certainly not the case before.

As to the price, I've paid just as much for two filters (as opposed to six) in stores, and what Amazon charges is much more reasonable than any other price I've seen for this item on line.
